With the new mixed team season fast approaching we need to make decisions about entering teams. Last season we entered a team into division 4 (bottom division) and finished around mid table and with some great squash played.
Team squash is all about being able to play different people at different clubs throughout the county. Team squash is always good fun and it is a great way to meet like minded people from different clubs. Through my time of playing squash I have made friends with lots of people. The evening consists of playing a best of 5 games match (including marking when at home) and then having a meal and a drink with the opponents. Desford squash charge a match fee of £10 per match.
Desford squash goes to the Red Lion Pub in Huncote for our food, this is amazing food and is talked about throughout the Leicestershire Leagues and even won us the cup for food and hospitality.
