Dear Member,

The committee would like to update you with progress on a couple of the items that were included in the last new letter.

Some of you may not have notice the door exit button that has been installed at the rear, this is part of the new door entry system that has been installed. Everything has been tested by the electrician and is working. We have a small issue with being able to mount the magnetic lock to the door due to the frame of the door. He has gone away to find what the best fix for this will be. We are going to start to long task of creating ever member an account and the documentation to send out for you to configure the application on your phone to allow access. Once this has been completed and the system goes live, we will inform you of this. In the meantime, please keep using your key.

Junior coaching sessions. Alan has been working hard with Leicestershire squash and together has identified a potential coach who is keen to get something going. The committee are going to arrange for a meeting with her to discuss it more. We would like to gauge the potential numbers of junior that may want to join. If you know anyone who may be interested in starting junior squash (group coaching) then please let us know, we can then gauge the interest for this and help us onboard the new coach. At this time it will be to gauge numbers and by saying you’d be interested does not mean you have to the sign up later.

The committee are always after ideas on what the members want from the club and any ideas on how we can improve the club. If you have any idea’s, please let us now through desfordsquash@yahoo.com.
